Updated: IG Metall Say Stop Siemens union-busting in the USA; German Press Report Union busting

Siemens, the global engineering giant, likes to say it’s a socially responsible company. It even just signed an agreement with labour organisations committing it to respect workers’ rights around the globe. So what does Siemens do within days after signing this agreement?

It launches a vicious union busting campaign in Maryland, USA.

The United Steelworkers has just launched a major global online campaign to tell Siemens to live up to its agreements – and to show our support for its workers in the USA who are struggling to create a union.

The IG Metall the union representing workers in Siemens in Germany has issued the following statement on August 31st.
